Akron Register-Tribune, Akron, Plymouth, Iowa, USA September 2, 1976

Onnie H. Klave, 73, of Hawarden, died (Aug. 27, 1976) in a Hawarden hospital after a long illness.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30 in Trinity Lutheran church, Hawarden. The Rev. Dwight Regnstorf officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of Dow funeral home.

Mr. Klave was born March 4, 1903, at Ireton. He married Lillian John July 25, 1936 in Omaha. He was a maintenance man for Sioux county for many years.

Survivors include the widow; a son Dennis of Lexington, Ky.; three brothers, Art and Rudy, both of Akron, and Albert of Sioux City; six sisters, Mrs. John Van Wyhe of Ireton; Mrs. Milton Edmunds, Mrs. Louise Short and Mrs. Truman Watkins, all of Hawarden, Mrs. Ann Marshall of Sioux City, and Mrs. Onno Johnson of Le Mars, and two grandchildren.
