Life's End SIEBELT J. HARMS, RETIRED PLYMOUTH CO. FARMER, DEAD At 87

Siebelt Jurgen Harms, 87, retired Plymouth county farmer, died Sunday at Brentwood Convalescent home where he resided the last 2'/4 years. He had been in ailing health for several years. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran church in Grant township, with Rev. Dennis D. Mueller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Mauer's funeral home. A prayer service will be held at 8 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Harms was born March 28, 1875, at Ostfriesland Hannover, Germany, a son of the late Jurgen and Gepke Edden Harms. He came to the United States at the age of three years and lived in Grant township until retiring to Le Mars in 1953. His marriage to Eta Catherina Lubben took place Jan. 24,1907, in Grant township. She died in 1961.

Surviving are three sons, Jurgen of Ireton, Harm and Fred, both of Le Mars, 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his wife, were a daughter, Marie Asmussen, one grandchild, four brothers and a sister.

Mr. Harms was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran church in Grant township
