DEATH OF MRS. WEBER

Leaves a husband and large family to Mourn

Mrs. Weber, wife of Henry Weber, of Washington township, died at a local hospital at four o’clock on Wednesday morning. Mrs. Weber was brought to the hospital the previous night to undergo an operation as she was suffering from strangulated hernia. Her case was hopeless although an operation was performed in the hope that it might save her life. Mrs. Weber was a native of Germany. She was born in Ost Friesland on August 20, 1864. Her maiden name was Tena Fredericka Eilers and she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harm Eilers. She came ot the United States with her mother, brothers and sisters in 1882, her father having died in the old country. The family settled near Petersburg, Illinois, where she lived twenty-four years, coming to Plymouth county in 1906. She was married to Henry Weber in 1883 at Petersburg. They farmed near there after their marriage for many years and for the past few years have farmed eight miles southwest of Le Mars in Washington township.

Twelve children were born to their union, seven of whom are living. Those who are left to mourn with the father are, Mrs. Gerd Pecks, Fannie, Minnie, Rieke, Harry, William, and Henry. She also leaves two brothers and two sisters, who are , Mrs. Anton Ritterbusch, and Gerd Eilers, of Franklin county, Nebraska, Mrs. Ernest Meyer, Maynard county, Illinois, and Sam Eilers of Le Mars.

Mrs. Weber was a good Christian woman, and a loving wife and mother and worked unceasingly for her children and home.
