Le Mars Globe-Port, Le Mars, Plymouth, Iowa, USA Monday, October 2, 1961

Rick Weber, who resided at 27 ½ street northwest in Le Mars, passed away September 28 in Le Mars passed away at the the age of 77 years. He had been sick for the for the past two months.

Mr. Weber was born January 28, 1884 in Illinois. He came to Le Mars 55 years ago with his parents and was employed by the street department here. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mae Laddesau and his 2nd Tena Martfeld.

Funeral services were held Monday October 2 at 2 p. m. at Luken's Funeral home. Burial was in Johnson township under direction of the Luken Funeral home. Rev. Robert Floy officiated.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. William (Katherine) Boulton, Hinton; William (Viola) Rieken, Le Mars; Mrs. William (Dora) Wensel, Le Mars; Mrs. Jerome (Bernice) Callender, Le Mars; three sons, Henry of Le Mars, Alvin of Norwalk, California; William of Le Mars; 3 sisters, Mrs. John Luschen, Merrill; Mrs. William Plueger and Mrs. Fred Plueger both of Le Mars, a brother, Henry Weber of Sioux City; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
