MRS. HERMAN FRERICHS DIES AT HOSPITAL RITES SET THURSDAY

Mrs. Herman J. Frerichs, 72, Le Mars, died Monday at Sacred Heart hospital after an illness of several months. She had been a patient at the hospital for several days.

Anna Molzen was born Sept. 29, 1893, in Preston township near Le Mars, the daughter of the late Mary Muecke and Peter Molzen. She was married to Herman J. Frerichs, March 1, 1916, in Preston township. The couple farmed until 1943 when they moved to Le Mars.

Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at St. John American Lutheran church, with Rev. L. L. Belk and Rev. Robert Floy officiating. Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Lillian) Rohlfsen of Le Mars and Mrs. Marlin (Shirley) McDougall, Winona, Minn. four grandsons; a sister. Mrs. Bertha Frerichs, Akron, and four brothers, Walter, Alfred, Henry and Elmer, all of Le Mars.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; a brother, Herbert Molzen, and an infant brother and sister.
