Miss Leona Erperlding daughter of John Erpelding died on Friday, September 16, at her home west of Merrill. Miss Erpelding had been in poor health for some months following an attack of small pox from which she suffered last spring.

Leona Emma Erpelding was born on May 2, 1910. Her early death came as a great shock to her parents and relatives and is deeply deplored by her schoolmates with whom she was a general favorite.

The funeral services were held yesterday at the Ellendale church, Rev. Father Hickey officiating.
