Peter Erpelding, of Merrill, a resident of Plymouth bounty, died at a local hospital in Le Mars Sunday, following an illness of some duration. Mr. Erpelding suffered a stroke of apoplexy sometime ago since which time his condition has been critical.

Peter Erpelding was born In Ospern, Luxemburg, Europe, November 2,1844, and came to America when a youth. He was married to Barbara Hoffmann who preceded him in death. He farmed for many years In Liberty township and became successful and prosperous.
