FRANCES HOFFMAN, 83,
RETIRED TEACHER,
RITES AT REMSENFrances Hoffman, 83, a Remsen native, died Tuesday at Floyd Valley Hospital. She had lived at the hospital since last August.
She was born at Remsen and was a retired school teacher. Miss Hoffman taught for 25 years in Seattle and for 15 more years in various places on the west coast.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church, Remsen, with Rev. Paul Weubben officiating. Burial will be in the Remsen City Cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home.
Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Mary Stewart and Mrs. Etta Rinehart, both of Remsen, and Mrs. Kalherine Kas, Sutherland.
