MANY YEARSFollowing a sickness of six years Charles Mitchell Mansfield, 67 years old, a retired farmer, died Friday in the home of his sister, Mrs. D. O. Bogenrief, in Liberty township.
Mr. Mansfield was born August 14, 1866, in Apple River, III., and had lived in Plymouth County nearly all; his life. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, at Ellendale, and services were held Monday morning in the church there. Rev. T. J. McKenna, the pastor, officiating, and interment made in the family burying ground in the Ellendale cemetery.
Surviving Mr. Mansfield are four, sisters, Mrs. Bogenrief, Mrs. Hannah Derocher, of Jefferson, Mrs. Alice Coughlan, of Sioux City, and Mrs. D. J. Arioso, of Le Mars, and three brothers, Hubbard Mansfield, of Harrow, S. D., John Mansfield, of Westfield, and Matt Mansfield, of Merrill.
