Services of 2-month-old Adam Gengler of Merrill, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Merrill United Methodist Church. Rev. Donald Bardole will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars.

Adam, the son of Douglas and Dixie Gengler of Merrill, died Sunday (April 1,1984) at his home of sudden infant death syndrome. His mother is the former Dixie Matte. Adam was born Jan. 29, 1984, in Sioux Center.

Survivors are his parents; a sister, Bobbie at home; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Gengler of Merrill; two paternal great-grandfathers, Jack Gengler Sr. and Elmer Singer, both of Le Mars; maternal grandmother, Doris Manz of Laurel, Neb.; and maternal great-grandparents, Melvin and Iva Manz of Laurel, Neb., and Mrs. Lavina Brockman of Carroll, Neb.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John E. Gengler, and his maternal grandfather, Richard Manz.
