Arlene Wycoff, 81, Rogers, Ark., an Akron native, and former Le Mars resident, died Tuesday (April 10, 1990) at Rogers Nursing Center in Rogers, Ark.

Mrs. Wycoff will be remembered in Le Mars as a bus depot agent and Western Union operator for 17 years. She moved from Le Mars to Rogers in 1987.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Le Mars. Rev. Robert Robinson officiated. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Merrill, under direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral home.

The former Arlene Rush was born Feb. 27, 1909, in Akron, Iowa to Arthur and Brosia Walden Rush. She married Oscar E. Wycoff Sept. 19, 1947 in Le Mars. She was a Le Mars business woman before moving to Rogers.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Brice of Rogers; three stepsons, Marvin Wycoff of Moville; Raymond Wycoff of Manchester, Iowa and Maurice Wycoff of Overland Park, Kan.; a stepdaughter, Delores Hageman of Sioux City; a brother, George Rush of Salem, Ore.; two sisters, Lenore Philips of Hinton, and Marti Sheetz of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
