LaDon Everhart, 75, died Tuesday (Feb. 13, 1990) at a hospital in San Jose, Calif.

He is an Iowa native and married Ardyce Cowell, Nov. 6, 1938, in Le Mars.

Funeral was at 1 p.m. Feb. 19 at Nelson-Berger North side Chapel in Sioux City, with burial in Sioux City Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born Dec. 15, 1914, in Iowa. He had been a California resident since moving there from Sioux City in 1970. He was employed as an automotive mechanic for various firms for 45 years, retiring in 1980. He was a Baptist.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Elfanio (Renee) Gavino of San Jose; a sister, Mrs. Betty Jane Johnson of Woodenville, Wash.; his mother, Mrs. Rachael Eyertiart of Woodenville; four grandchildren and a greatgrandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nov. 20, 1977, at Sioux City; a brother and a sister.
