Mildred S. Rozell, 73, Le Mars, died Thursday (Feb. 1, 1990) at Sioux City St. Luke's Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John's American Lutheran Church, Le Mars. Rev. David Kramer officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery, Le Mars.

Mrs. Rozell was born July 17, 1916, in Grant Township to Rank and Minnie (Renken) Oetken. She married Arvil Rozell Sept. 17, 1936, at Craig. She was a homemaker and longtime Le Mars area resident. She was a member of St. John American Lutheran Church, Le Mars.

Survivors are her husband of Le Mars; four sons, LaVerle Rozell of Waseca, Minn., Randall Rozell of Minburn, Dallas Rozell of Jefferson, Iowa, and Myron Rozell of Mapleton; 12 grandchildren; three brothers, Earl Oetken of Akron, Elmer Oetken of Merrill and George Oetken of Le Mars; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Pralle of Rock Rapids and Mrs. Darlene Lang of Paullina,

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
