Mrs. Grover Schneider and Mrs. Karl Kaupp

Two sisters, who were former Plymouth county residents, both died this week at nursing homes. They were Mrs. Karl Kaupp and Mrs. Grover Schneider.

Mrs. Grover (Emma) Schneider of Arvada, Colo., and a lifelong resident of the Melbourne area near Hinton, died Friday (February 11, 1972) at Mt. Vista nursing home at Wheat Ridge, Colo.

She was born Dec. 17, 1889 in Le Mars and moved to Colorado in 1955.

Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 14, at 1:30 p.m. at the Mauer funeral home with Rev. Walden J. Paige officiating. Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.

The former Emma Koenig, she was a daughter of the late George and Margaret Goetzi Koenig.

She was preceded in death by her husband in May 1954; a brother, George Koenig; two sisters, Mrs. Kaupp and Mrs. Martha Winter.

Survivors are a son Dwight of Arvada, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Lula Stauffacher of Banning, Colo., two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
