Minnie H. Von Hagel, 81, of Le Mars died Friday (April 17, 1992) at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center.

Services were Monday at Christ Lutheran Church, rural Le Mars, Rev. Jack Hebard officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.

Ms. Von Hagel was born May 13, 1910, in Plymouth County, rural Le Mars, the daughter of Gerd and Hannah (Meyer) Von Hagel. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church by her grandfather,

Rev. J.D. Meyer. She was a homemaker and cared for her handicapped brother before moving to Le Mars. She was a member of Christ Lutheran church, rural Le Mars.;

Survivors include a brother and his wife, John and Esther of Le Mars, and an adopted brother and his wife, Rev. Martin and Lavina Schulz of Mapleton, Minn.; two nephews, Randall Von Hagel of Hawarden and Louis Von Hagel and his wife, Renee, of Le Mars; a niece, Pearl Von Hagel of Le Mars; two great-nieces; and one great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Herman and Walter.
