Paulette Yvonne Richters, 37, Route 1, Akron, died Monday, April 27, 1992 at Marian Health Center in Sioux City after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 30, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist church in Akron. Rev. Ted Siemens will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery in Akron. A visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. at Schroeder funeral home in Akron. Gary Tucker, soloist, will sing "Amazing Grace", "It Is No Secret", and "Mansion Over The Hilltop" Chris Ackerman is organist.
Pallbearers are Tom Gark, Charles Clark, Dennis Beeck, Larry Parker, Mike Parker and Mark Parker.
Paulette was born August 3, 1954 to Robert and Mary (Rosenbaum) Trefren at Akron, Iowa. She is a 1972 graduate of Akron Community High school. She married James D. Richters, June 1, 1977 at Akron. She worked for many years at Hass Hillcrest nursing home in Hawarden. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist church in Akron. She was a member of the W.B.M.S., chairperson of the Diconate, and Deaconess and treasurer .of the First Baptist church.
She is survived by her husband, James D. Richters of Akron; her parents, Robert and Mary Trefren of Akron; one sister, Mrs. David (Sandra) Nelson of Akron; one stepson, Timothy Richters of Sioux Falls, two step-daughters,' Vickie Sneely and Mary Miller, both of Sioux City; and seven step-grandchildren
