Alma Mae (Willer) Buys, 63, of rural Le Mars, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 19, 1992, at Floyd Valley hospital, Le Mars.

Services were Monday at the Adaville United Methodist church, rural Merrill. Rev. Shirley Textor officiated. Soloist, Tim Kelley sang, "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art", accompanied by Eva Brown, organist. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, rural Merrill, under direction of Schroeder funeral home in Akron.

Pallbearers were Loren Buys, Merlin Buys, Lonny Ostermyer, Jay Wilier, Grayling Wilier and Charles Wilier.

Mrs. Buys, was born Dec. 4, 1928 at Akron, Iowa, the daughter of Henry P. and Ruth (Huff) Willer. She married Albert Buys Aug. 16, 1959, at the Adaville church. They farmed all their married life on the same farm. She was a member of the Adaville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Albert of rural Le Mars; three sons, Martin and George of Le Mars and James of Ankeny; two brothers Lloyd Willer and Harry Willer, both Of Akron; and a sister, Edna Heuser of Knoxville, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter.
