Hannah Margaret Bruns, 76, former Brunsville resident, died Friday at Colonial Manor nursing home, Randolph, Neb. She had been at the home for a month.

Mrs. Bruns, a lifelong Plymouth County Resident, was born May 6, 1892, in Washington township, the daughter of the Late Henry and Margaret Thielen Rieken. Her husband, William, died March 27, 1959.

She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and the church circle. Funeral services were Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's church in Brunsville with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Olaf Rossing officiated and arrangements were in charge of the Luken-Johnson funeral home.

Survivors are two sons, William, Norfolk, and John, Sioux City; three sisters, Mrs. Henry (Minnie) Buhman, Sioux City; Mrs. James (Louise) Buhman, Correctionville; and Mrs. Katherine McHale, Brunsville, and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a grandchild, a daughter, one brother and a sister.
