KROKSH, OAKS

Charles F. Kroksh, a well known
farmer of Westfield township, passed
away in sleep on Tuesday night of
last week, at the age of nearly 53
years.

Mr. Kroksh was .born July 4, 1903,
at Elk Point, S. D., where he grew
to manhood. On July 15, 1925, he
was united in marriage with Valma
Oaks. Seven children were born to
them, two of whom died in infancy.

Mr. and Mrs. Kroksh farmed in Plymouth
county all their married life,
their present home being northeast
of Westfield. He was highly esteemed
for his many fine qualities.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Marvin,
of Battle Creek, la.; four daughters,
Mrs. Frank Wynia and Mrs. Elmer
Huffman, both of Westfield;
Mrs. Lawrence Gagnon, of Sioux
Falls, and Mrs. Clarence Jensen, of
Marcus, Ia.; two sisters, Mrs. Roy
Bliss, of Westfield and Mrs. Wm.
Maynard, of San Bernardino, Calif.,
and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday
afternoon at Westfield Congregational
Church, Rev. A. L. Walker officiating.
Burial was in the Adaville Cemetery.
