Mrs. Chester Trobaugh

Mrs. Chester T. Trobaugh, 55, of Chatsworth, a resident of Sioux City most of her adult life, died Sunday, (Oct. 7, 1979) at a Sioux City hospital following a long illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Central Assembly of God church. Rev. Elmer J. Yates will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery in Akron, under the direction of the W. Harry Christy funeral home.

A memorial is being established in Mrs. Trobaugh's name for the Central Assemby of God church.

Mrs. Trobaugh, the former Opal Allen, was born Feb. 26, 1924, in Akron. She attended high school there. She married Chester T. Trobaugh Sept. 6, 1941, in Dakota City. They lived in Westfield before moving to Sioux City. In 1977, they, moved to Chatsworth. She was a member of the Central Assemby of God church.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, Harley A. of Merrill and Chester A. "Sonny" of Sioux City; three daughters, Mrs. Steve (Kay) Gaszoigne of Crooks, S.D., Ms. Linda Lias of Sioux City, and Ms. Madonna I. Pulscher of Hawarden; three brothers, Ray Allen of Alcester, S.D., Orin Allen of Sergeant Bluff, and Clifford Allen Sioux City; four sisters, Mrs. Marie Manoiki and Mrs. Dorothy Kemp, both of Sioux City, Mrs. Jim (Leone) Dixon of Moville, and Mrs. Frank (Rose) Carter of Westfield, and 14 grandchildren.
