Mrs. Robert Magee, 82, died at Decatur, Neb., this morning of influenza.

Deceased lived in Nebraska for over 30 years and was a resident of this county prior to that, living on a homestead south of the city. She
leaves a son and six daughters to mourn her loss.

Funeral services will be held at Decatur Saturday, and the remains brought to Le Mars for burial. Beely's funeral directors have charge.

ROBERT MAGEE'S WAS HOME
STEADER IN PLYMOUTH
COUNTY IN THE SEVENTIES

Mrs. Robert Magee a pioneer resident
of Plymouth County, died at an early
hour in her home at Decatur Nebraska
Thursday morning following an illness
of flu which developed pneumonia.

She was 82 years of age and had been
a resident of Nebraska for the past
thirty-seven years.

Mrs. Magee was born in Ohio and
when a young woman came to Iowa.

She was married at Sloan to Mr. Magee.

Mr. Magee homesteaded the
land south of town, now occupied by
Clifford Eyres. He later farmed
north of Le Mars and then moved to
Washington township, west of the
Mallette crossing. He died many
years ago.

Mrs. Magee Is survived by one son,
Harry Magee, of Sioux City, and six
daughters, Mrs. Mary Lake, Colorado
Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Hattie O'Rourke,
Decatur, Neb.; Mrs. Nellie Little and
Mrs. Dora Nixon, South Sioux City,
Neb.; Mrs. Mattie Faber, Sioux City;
Mrs. Lydia Thurston, Walthill, Neb.
One son and one daughter preceded
her in death.

The funeral services will be held
Saturday morning at Decatur and the
remains brought to Le Mars for interment
in the city cemetery beside
other members of the family.
