Mrs. Gerd Heeren

Mrs. Gerd Heeren, 73, a long time Resident of Le Mars died Friday at Sacred Heart Hospital here after a three year sickness.

Mrs. Heeren was born December 9, 1889 in Germany. At the age of 1 she came with her parents to the United States and to Plymouth County, Ia.

She was married to Gerd W. Heeren October 3, 1906, at Le Mars. They farmed near here until retiring in 1936. She was a member of St. John American Lutheran Church.

Survivors include the widower; a son John, of Compton Cal.; a daughter Mrs. Foster Rowe of Le Mars; three sisters, Mrs. Lena Pritchett of Moville; Mrs. John Friedrichs of Ashland, Wis.;Mrs. John Schwiesow of Tyler, Minn.; three half brothers, George Pritchett of Sioux City, Charles Pritchett of Elkton S.D. and William Pritchett of Roseburg, Ore; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

(Note: She is buried at Memorial Cemetery, Le Mars, Iowa.)
