William Heeren, 74, a resident of
Sioux City for the last 27 years, died
Monday at the residence after a long
sickness.

Mr. Heeren was born August 11,
1879, in Grant township, Plymouth
county, Iowa, and he farmed in that
locality for about 25 years.

Survivors include the widow, Mary;
four sons, Fred, Harry, Frank and
Earl, and four daughters, Mrs. Lowell
Gordon, Mrs. Al Pahl, Mrs. Esther
McCue and Mrs. Wilbur Kellison,
all of Sioux City; three brothers,
Herman, Albert and Harm, all of
Lo Mars; three sisters, Mrs. Henry
Baack of Howard, S. D., Mrs. Meta
Goroth of Canova, S. D., and Mrs.
Minnie Onken of Morrison, III.; seven
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Heeren was a member of the
First Lutheran church.

The Manning – O’Toole funeral
home has charge of arrangements.

Funeral services were at 2 p. m.
Thursday at the Manning-O'Toole
funeral home.

Rev. O. B. Anderson of the First
Lutheran church officiated and burial
was in Memorial park cemetery.

The pallbearers were Allie Ezrel,
Harold Henderson, Eddie Comstock,
Donald Gregg, Edward Oddy and
Ervin Scofield.
