MRS. HARM HEEREN CALLED TO REWARD
Passes Away Quietly at Her Home In Le Mars at the Age of 67 Years
Le Mars for 12 years, and a resident of Plymouth county since 1879, died at her home at 401 Second avenue N. E., Wednesday night 11:30 o'clock. Deceased was 97 years of age at the time of her death.
Mrs. Charlotte Marie Heeren, nee Kline, was born on April 8, 1857, in Germany. When she was 11 years of age she came to America, settling near Springfield, Ill. She was united in marriage near Springfield, Ill., on July 6, 1876, to Harm J. Heeren. Mr. and Mrs. Heeren lived there until 1879, then came to Plymouth county, settling on a farm three miles northwest of Le Mars. The last 12 years Mr. and Mrs. Heeren have been making their home in Le Mars.
Deceased is survived by her beloved husband and seven children, all of whom are living. The children are; John, Herman, Gerhart, Edward Heeren, all of Plymouth County except Herman, who lives at Chatsworth, Ia.; and daughters, Mrs. Arend Ullmann of Canby, Minn.; Mrs. Gus Hein, of Oldham, S. D., and Mrs. Joe Cook, of Le
Mars. She also leaves a brother, John Kline, of Akron.The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon from the house at 1:30 and at the St. John's Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock. Rev, J, J, Vollmar will officiate.
Burial will be made in the Le Mars Cemetery.
