Eunice M. Gill, 95, longtime Elk
Point resident, died unexpectedly Friday
(Jan. 18,1985) at a Sioux City hospital.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday
at St. Joesph Catholic Church in Elk
Point. Rev. Anthony Opem will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

The body was taken to me church
at 3 p.m. Monday from the Berkemier
Funeral Home in Sioux City. The rosary
was recited at 4 p.m. Monday by
the Catholic Daughters of America
and there will be a scriptural wake service
at 7:30 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Gill, the former Eunice
Twitchell was born Dec. 27, 1889, at
Moville. She came to Elk Point as a
child and attended schools there. She
married Charles P. Gill March 4,1919,
at Le Mars. They made their home in
Elk Point. He died Nov. 17,1965.

Mrs. Gill was a member of St.
Joseph Catholic Church, the Altar
Society, Catholic Daughters of America,
American Legion Auxiliary. DAR
and Royal Neighbors of America. She
was a charter member of VFW Post
915 Auxlilary.
