MRS. BERNARD ST. JOHN
DIES AT SIOUX CITY

Mrs. Bernard St. John, 69,
Sioux City, died Sunday at a
Sioux City hospital after a long
illness.

The former Catherine Karl,
she was born Dec. 8, 1898, at
Hudson. She lived in Sioux City
the last 40 years. She was married
Sept. 14, 1920, at Le Mars.
Mr. St. John died June 25, 1967,
at Sioux City.

She was a member of St.
Boniface Catholic church and
the rosary society.

Survivors are a son Karl of
Huntington Station. N.Y.; two
daughters, Mrs. Eugene Kochen
of Sioux City and Mrs. Ronald
Tatnaude of San Rafael,
Calif.; two brothers, George
Karl of Chicago and Clemence
Karl of Le Mars; two sisters,
Mrs. Paul Beberich of San Francisco
and Mrs. George Tangeman
of Le Mars; 14 grandchildren;
and a great-grandson.

The body was taken to the
Manning-O'Toole funeral home,
Sioux City.
