MRS. JAMES COUCH
DIES AT ARTHURMrs. James Couch, 93, a former
Bronson resident, died
Tuesday afternoon at the home
of a daughter, Mrs. Arthur
Palm, with whom she resided
at Arthur, after a brief illness.The former Cora Alice Amick,
she was born Oct. 12, 1874, at
Le Mars. She was married to
James Couch March 5, 1896, at
Bronson. The couple lived in
that area for several years before
Mr. Couch died. She moved
to Arthur a year and a half ago.Mrs. Couch was a member of
First Church of the Nazarene
of Sioux City.Survivors are a son Earl of
Mapleton; four daughters, Mrs.
Palm, Mrs. Dorothy Robertson
of Stockton, Calif., Mrs. Carl
Wohlert of Bronson and Mrs.
Gilbert Garnhart of Casper,
Wyo.; three brothers, Walter of
Spring View, Neb., Charles of
Colome, S.D. and Theodore of
Sioux City; 12 grandchildren;
and 36 great-grandchildren.The body was taken to the
Nelson-Berger funeral home at
