KATHRYN BLUT, 88,
SERVICES HELD MONDAY

Kathryn Blut, 88, of Le Mars,
formerly of Pierson, died Thursday
at a Le Mars nursing home
after a long illness.

She was born Nov, 21, 1879,
at Maquoketa, and was employed
at the McGraw General store
at Pierson for 35 years. She
moved to Le Mars about five
years ago.

She was a member of St. Michael
Catholic Church at Kingsley.

Survivors are two sisters,
Mrs. Anna Reiter of Sioux Falls
and Mrs. Claire Fry of Shenandoah,
and a brother, Frank of
Colorado Springs.

Funeral services were at 10
a.m. Monday at St. Michael
Catholic church at Kingsley.
Rev. Eugene Ceperley officiated.
Burial was in the church
cemetery.
