DR. PHIL CARLIN
DIES IN FLORIDA

Funeral services were held
Saturday, Jan. 20, in Jacksonville,
Fla., for Dr. W. P. (Phil)
Carlin, 80, a former Anthon resident.

Dr. Carlin died unexpectedly
Wednesday, Jan. 17, at his home
in Jacksonville. He was born in
April 1887 at Anthon.

Survivors include a daughter,
Mrs. Donna Bosman of Jacksonville;
a sister, Mrs. Ida Hansen
of Le Mars and six grandchildren.
