MRS. GERTRUDE KIRSCH
DIES AT AGE OF 81
AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Gertrude Kirsch, 81, lifetime
Le Mars resident, died Sunday
at the Plymouth county home
following a 5-year illness.

Mrs. Kirsch was born Nov. 8,
1886, in Plymouth county, the
daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. A Wilhelmi.

After the death of her first
husband, Bernard Orban, she
was married to Nick Kirsch,
who also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be
Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic
church in Le Mars. Rev.
Dean Walker will officiate at
10 a.m. and burial will be in
St. Catherine cemetery, Oyens,
under direction of the Luken-
Johnson funeral home.

The rosary will be recited at
8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral
home.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs.
Sylvester (May) Haag of Hospers
and a son, Raymond Orban
of Le Mars; eight grandchildren
and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Joseph
Catholic church.
