Mrs. Earl Southwick, 67, a lifelong
resident of the Kingsley area, died Sunday
at her home in Kingsley.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30
p.m. at the Congregational United Church
of Christ, Kingsley, with Rev. David E.
Cave officiating.

Burial will be in the Kingsley cemetery
under direction of the
Dickison-Michaelson funeral home.

The former Elsie Mae Woods, she was
born Aug. 25, 1903, at Kingsley. She was
married Jan. 22, 1924, in Sioux City. Mr.
Southwick died in 1957 at Kingsley.

Mrs. Southwick was a member of the
Congregational church, Women's
Fellowship of the church and the Kingsley
Garden club.

Survivors are three sons Harlan of
Bellevue, Neb.; Donald of Onawa and Verl
of Denver, Colo.; two daughters Mrs. John
(Dorothy) McCann of Gilbert, Mrs. Tom
(Hazel) James of Vermillion, S.D.; three
sisters Mrs. Ray Bainbridge of Kingsley,
Mrs. Edgar Bleasdell of Estherville, and
Mrs. Louis Brand of Van Nuys, Calif., and
two brothers Everett of Pierson and
Ellsworth of Keokuk.
