Philip E. Beaubien, 75, Westfield,
died Sunday, July 15,1990 in a Sioux
City hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday in St. Patrick's Catholic
church in Akron. Monsignor Gerald
Lyon will officiate. Burial will be in
St. Joseph Catholic cemetery in
Akron, with military graveside rites
conducted by Hoschler Post 186,
American Legion, under direction of
Schroeder funeral home in Akron.

Visitation was from 2 p.m.
Wednesday with a scripture service
at 7 p.m. and parish rosary at 7:30
p.m. in the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Blanc Smith,
Brock Smith, Jason Coy, Blair Smith,
Briggs Smith, Tami Coy, Micki Coy.

Mr. Beaubien was born Dec. 30,
1914, in Westfield, the son of Philip
Sr. and Winifred (Faust) Beaubien.
He married Stella Olson in Elk Point,
S.D. He was a lifelong dairy farmer
in the Westfield area. The couple retired
in 1980 and moved into Westfield.

Mr. Beaubien was a member of St.
Patrick's Catholic church and Hoschler
Post 186, American Legion, in
Akron. He served in the U.S. Navy
during World War II, stationed in
Hawaii.

Survivors include his wife; two
daughters, Marcine and her husband,
Daryl Smith of Westfield, and
Dixie and her husband, Mike Beavers
of Jefferson, S.D.; seven grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren;
his step-mother, Gladys Beaubien of
Westfield and a sister, Catherine
Foster of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by three
brothers and two sisters.
