Guy M. Ross

Guy M. Ross, 88, of Westfield died
Thursday (Nov.17, 1977) at a Hawarden
hospital of brief illness.

Services were at 2 p.m. Monday in
the Schroeder funeral home at Akron.
Rev. Harold Siegloff officiated, Burial
was at Riverside cemetery in Akron.
Mr. Ross was born Sept. 27, 1889,
near Akron. He married Laura Carmen
March 5, 1924, at Sioux City. The couple
farmed northeast of Akron until 1941,
when they moved to Westfield.

Survivors are his wife; two daughters,
Mrs. Hans (Velma) Knudsen of Akron
and Mrs. Harold (Marlys) Verana of
Westfield; a son, Guy W. of Westfield;
two brothers, Earl of Akron and Ted of
Denison; 10 grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
