Lynn H. Hummel

Lynn H. Hummel, 68, of Richland
died Jan. 5,1976, at his home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in
Westfield Congregational church. Rev.
Sherman Tidball will officiate. Burial
will be in Westfield cemetery.
A prayer service will be conducted at
7 p.m. Friday in the W. Harry Christy
funeral home, 711 Myrtle St., Sioux
City. Rev. Martin N. Knudson of the
United Church of Christ will officiate.
Mr. Hummel was born Jan. 28, 1907,
at Westfield.
He married Clemantine Mount Nov.
21,1930, at Dakota City, Neb.
Mr. Hummel operated a welding and
repair shop in Richland and Westfield
until he retired in 1970. Mr. Hummel
was a member of Richland Methodist
church.
Survivors are his wife; three sons,
Arnold of Westfield, James of Paxton,
III, and Robert of Richland; three
daughters, Mrs. Guy W. (Marion) Ross
of Westfield, Mrs. Robert (Jeannettie)
Dunham of Elk Point, S.D. and Mrs.
Ronald (Mavis) Klein of Richland;
14 grandchildren and five great-grand-
children.
Also surviving are four brothers,
Earl of Jefferson, S.D., Gordon of Over-
brook, Kan., and Floyd and Thomas,
both of Elk Point, S.D.; three sisters,
Mrs. Harold (Mary Jane) Rosenbaum,
Mrs. Elwood (Verda) Klapprodt and
Mrs. Robert (Sylvia) Rosenbaum, all of
Jefferson.
