George F. Albright, 76, Akron, died Thursday at the Akron hospital after long illness.

Funeral services were held Monday at Peter Lutheran Church, Brunsville Olaf Rossing officiated and burial was in St. Peter cemetery at Brunsville, The Schroeder funeral home, Akron, was in charge.

He was born Oct. 21, 1894 near Merrill, He married Anna Marienau Sept. 20,1916 in Johnson township near Le Mars. They farmed in Grant township for 20 years prior to 1936.

He was employed by the Plymouth county highway commission until I961 when he retired and moved to Brunsville. He went to Akron in 1970.

Mr. Albright was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.

Survivors are his wife; three sons, Arthur, Hinton; William, Sioux City and Marlin of Brunsville; two daughters, Mrs. Ivyl Small, Akron and Mrs. Clifford Wheldon, Aberdeen, S. D.; 16 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
