Fred W. Gellerman passed away after a short illness at St. Joseph's hospital. Sioux City, Iowa, May 6. 1962. He had been hospitalized about 8 months. He was a retired farmer and had farmed in Plymouth county, Sioux county, and Cherokee. After retirement he had moved to Sioux City. He was 57 years old. Mr. Gellerman is the son of Heinrich Gellerman and Maria Thielen and born July 19, 1904 in Preston township, Plymouth county, Iowa. He was never married.
Funeral rites will be held Tuesday, May 8 at 2 p.m. Mauer Funeral home. Rev Ervin Schemmel officiating. Burial will be in the Craig Lutheran cemetery.
Survivors include 2 brothers, John Gellerman. Ireton, Iowa; Henry Gellerman. Le Mars, Iowa, 2 sisters, Sophie and Annie Gellerman, both of Cherokee, Iowa,
Preceding him in death were his parents and three sisters, Maria, Katherine, and Hermina.
