Kenneth F. "Kenny" Grosenheider, 49, of rural Ireton died Wednesday, February 9, 1994, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services were held Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, Grant Township, rural Le Mars, with the Rev. Jack Hebard officiating. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery at Craig. Visitation was Friday with a Scripture service at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.
Mr. Grosenheider was born November 11, 1944, in Le Mars. He graduated from Le Mars High School in 1963 and attended Westmar College for one year. He graduated from the Minnesota School of Business in Minneapolis. He returned to Iowa to farm with his father. He was presently farming with his son, Chris.
Mr. Grosenheider was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church, Preston Township, where he was a member of the choir and served on the church council. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Grant Township.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Steve (Lori) Westhoff of rural Le Mars; a son, Chris Grosenheider of rural Ireton; his parents, Fred and Berniece Grosenheider of rural Le Mars; three sisters, Mrs. Smitty (Ardis) Schmitt of Sioux City; Mrs. Jerry (Karen) Bertsch of Bloomington, MN; and Mrs. Tom (Janet) Guerber of Apple Valley, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
