Darrell Cornish, 47, of Mc Farland, WI died on Saturday, December 22, 1990 at his home in McFarland after a brief and brave battle with cancer.

Services were held on Thursday, December 26, 1990 at McFarland Lutheran Church where he was a member, the Reverend Peter Jonas officiating. Burial was in the McFarland Cemetery under the direction of the Olson-Holzhuter Funeral Home, 5801 Highway 51, McFarland, WI.

He was born on May 9, 1942 in San Diego, CA to Lucian and Irene (Borchers) Cornish. He married Christine Loya on December 10, 1965. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mr. Cornish had worked for Oscar-Meyer Company in Madison, WI since 1973.

Survivors include his wife Christine, of McFarland; a son, Matthew, and a daughter Suzette, both at home; his mother, Irene Cornish of Hawarden, IA; and a brother, Don, and his wife, Donna, of Ireton, IA.

He was preceded in death by his father.
