GEORGE J. PLUEGER

Geroge J. Plueger, 65, Route 4, LeMars, was dead on arrival Monday (Dec. 3, 1984) at Floyd Valley Hospital.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church, Grant Township. Rev. Jack Hebard will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Plueger was born June 15, 1919, in Grant Township where he was a lifelong resident. He farmed all his life and his death was unexpected.

His marriage to Helen Eichacker took place June 15, 1939, in Grant Township. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

Survivors are his wife, Helen, LeMars; a son, Melvin, Akron; a granddaughter; two brothers, Roy Plueger of Brookings, S.D., and Henry Plueger, LeMars. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lawrence; and a sister in infancy.
