Mrs. Dorothy Miller, 54, 334 Fourth Ave., SE., Le Mars, died Monday night (December 4, 1972) at Floyd Valley hospital after an illness of several weeks.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic church with Msgr. Dean Walker officiating.
Burial will be in Calvary cemetery under direction of the Luedtke funeral home, Le Mars. The rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The former Dorothy Hinken, she was born July 22, 1918 in Le Mars, the daughter of the late Benjamin Hinken and Mrs. Mary (Hamann) Hinken.
A homemaker, Mrs. Miller was a lifelong Le Mars resident.
She was married to Ralph M. Miller May 20, 1935, at Kingsley. Mr. Miller died July 30, 1971.
Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Mary Hinken of Le Mars; six daughters, Mrs. Francis Lean and Mrs. Ray Meschke, both of St. Paul, Mrs. Stanley Plueger of Le Mars, Mrs. Jerome Konz of Marcus, Mrs. Darrell Hartmann of Le Mars and Ann at home; six sons, Donald of Le Mars, Thomas of Sioux City, Michael with the air force in Germany and David, James and William all at home; three brothers, three sisters and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father and brother
