Julie Kay Baack, 23, of Le Mars, Iowa, died December 13, 1992, in Plymouth County, Iowa. Her remains were located on December 29, 1995, in rural Monona county, Iowa.
Services were scheduled for Wednesday morning, January 3, 1996, at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars, the Reverend Richard Ries and the Reverent Robert Grupp officiating, with burial in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.
Miss Baack was born February 18, 1969, in Le Mars, the daughter of Kenneth G. and Bonnie (Hinken) Baack. She graduated from Le Mars Community High School in 1987. She had been enrolled as a junior at Westmar College.
Survivors include four brothers, Tom and his wife Janet of Le Mars, Jerry of Appleton, Minnesota, Rick and his wife Diane of Le Mars and George and Laurie of Estherville; four sisters, Kathy Erick of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sue and Rick Gabel of Akron, Beth Baack-Weiler of Sioux City and Chris Baack of Le Mars; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; paternal grandparents, George and Ruth-Dose; maternal grandparents, Ben and Mary Hinken and a brother Brian Baack.
