Mrs. John Landhuis

Funeral services for Mrs. John Landhuis, 60, longtime resident of Rock Valley, were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Reformed church. The Rev. Ralph Ten Clay officiated. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery under direction of Porter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Landhuis died Sunday (January 21, 1968) at Rock Valley hospital after a long illness. The former Hattie Winterfeld, she was born April 13, 1907, at Sioux Center, Iowa. She was married August 25, 1935, at Rock Rapids, Iowa.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Luckey, of Littleton, Colorado, six brothers, George and Julius, both of Forest Grove, Oregon, Charles of Luverne, Minnesota, Emil of Sioux Center, John of Verndale, Minnesota, and Ernest of Scappoose, Oregon; six sisters, Mrs. Amelia Hamann of Clear Lake, S.D., Mrs. Henry Rockman of Marshall, Minnesota, Mrs. Charles Klohs of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. Emma Groth of Pipestone, Minnesota, and Mrs. Herman Vogel of Pipestone, Minnesota, and Mrs. Arthur Gray of Lincoln, Nebraska, and a granddaughter
