Kenneth Baack, 57, of Le Mars, died suddenly Monday, December 1, 1986, in a hospital in Le Mars.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on December 4, at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ, in Le Mars. The Rev. Robert Grupp officiated. Burial was in the Le Mars Memorial Cemetery.
Baack was born February 17, 1929, at Hawarden and graduated from Le Mars Community Schools. He married Bonnie Hinken on December 28, 1949, in Le Mars. He was engaged in construction work.
He was a member of Presbyterian United Church of Christ. Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Heeren-McHale-Wilken Post 724, American Legion of Brunsville. He served in the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, four sons, Thomas, Richard, and George of Le Mars, and Gerald, of Denver; five daughters, Mrs. Mel (Kathryn) Foy, of Spencer, and Mrs. Rick (Sue) Gabel, Mrs. Chris (Beth) Weiler, Christine Baack and Julie Baack, all of Le Mars; his mother, Mrs. Ruth Dose, Le Mars, a sister, Shirley Riffey, of Le Mars, a brother, John, of Needham, MA. And nine grandchildren.
