Floyd Peck, 64, dies at Home

Floyd Peck, 64, died Tuesday, (January 2, 1951) at his home following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 at the Methodist church in Hawarden with the Rev . B. Roy Brown officiating. Burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Frazier Funeral service.

Floyd Peck was born December 14, 1886, at Martinsburg, Nebraska. He had lived in Hawarden in the past four years. He purchased the North Side grocery, which he operated at the time he became ill.

Survivors are the widow, Hattie: two sons, Lavern of Hawarden, and Harold of Akron: two daughters, Mrs. Sereva Stinton of Craig and Mrs. Hazel King of Adaville: five sisters, Mrs. Anna Morgaridge and Mrs. Della Dennis who reside in California, Mrs. Bertha Hayes of Elk Point, Mrs. May Dennis of Rock Island, Illinois, Mrs. Jessie Cotton of South Sioux City, Neb; one brother, Charles Peck of Sioux City, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
