RALPH A. HUNTER

Ralph A. Hunter, 75, of LeMars, a 50-year resident, died Friday, May 12, 1989, at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars.

Funeral was at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in LeMars with Rev. Gordon Rhodes officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in rural Merrill. Visitation began at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Mr. Hunter was born May 29, 1913, to Earl and Marie (Heflin) Hunter at Gillette Grove, Iowa. He married Mildred Tindall July 5, 1939, in LeMars. He had been a LeMars resident since his marriage and was retired.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mildred of LeMars; two sons, David and Ron of LeMars; one daughter, Mrs. Jeff (Susan) Kayser, of Remsen; ten grandchildren; one brother, William of Bloomington, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Gladys) Morton of Rockwell City, Iowa, and Mrs. Lee (Terri) Tidrick of La Plancentia, Calif.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two infant daughters.
