VERA STINTON

LE MARS, Iowa—Vera Stinton, 75, of LeMars, died Friday, Nov. 25, 1988, at a hospital in LeMars following a long illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Presbyterian United Church of Christ in LeMars. The Rev. Robert Grupp will officiate. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today with the family present from 7-8 p.m. at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

Mrs. Stinton, the former Vera Hartter, was born Dec. 30, 1914, in LeMars. She was the daughter of Andrew and Minnie (Sigler) Hartter. She was a lifelong resident of LeMars. She married Mainard Stinton June 16, 1935, in LeMars. He died in 1986 in LeMars.

She was a member of Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Aid of the church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Loree) Kneip of LeMars; a son, Lyle Stinton of LeMars; a brother, Lester Hartter of LeMars; and five grandchildren.
