CAL ANDERSEN

ONAWA, Iowa—Cal Andersen, 73, Fort Collins, Colo., formerly of Onawa, died Thursday in a hospital at Fort Collins of brief illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the First Christian Church at Onawa. The Rev. Everett Epperson will officiate. Burial will be in the Onawa Cemetery under the direction of the Pearson Funeral Home.

Mr. Andersen was born Sept. 12, 1905, at Akron.

He married Fern Bennett Oct. 22, 1960, at Sioux City. He was a retired barber and had moved to Fort Collins in 1972.

He was a member of the Whitfield Methodist church of Sioux City.

Survivors include the widow; one daughter, Mrs. John (Delores) Schuchard of Akron; two step sons, William Smith of Lakewood, Calif., and Robert Smith of Fort Collins; two step daughters, Shirley Schmidt of Sterling, Colo., and Betty Oliphant of Miami, Fla.; one brother, Clarence of Paynesville, Minn.; three grandchildren; 15 step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
