DANIEL ALEXANDER

Daniel Alexander, 67, died Sunday (April 9, 1978) at his home at Erdmann trailer court, LeMars, after an illness of a year.

He was born Jan. 21, 1911, at Kahoka, Mo., to C. J. and Charlotte Dietrick Alexander.

Mr. Alexander lived in Missouri and went to Ida Grove in 1948 to work as a watchmaker.

Twenty years ago he came to LeMars where he was in business as a watchmaker. Following that he was employed with A. J. Masuen Co. before he retired.

His marriage to Mary Irwin took place May 28, 1947, at Kansas City, Kan.

The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist church. Rev. Everett Staats will officiate.

Survivors are his wife Mary, LeMars; and four sisters, Mrs. Madeline Roe, Mexico, Mo.; Mrs. Kathleen Parmer, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Lyndall Wilkerson, Arlington, Tex.; and Mrs. Unaviwe Cable, Kansas City, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
