Mary B. Delaney

Mary Bernadine Delaney, 76, of Ventura, Calif., formerly of Marcus, died Friday (Aug. 24, 1984) in Ventura after a long illness.

Memorial services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Name Catholic Church at Marcus. Msgr. Gerald Lyon will officiate. Roethler Funeral Home in Marcus is in charge. The body was cremated.

Miss Delaney was born Oct. 1, 1907. She graduated from Holy Name High School in Marcus and from St. Joseph Nursing School in Sioux City. She worked in a doctor’s clinic in Ventura for many years.

Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Abe (Elizabeth) Soby of Vista, Calif., Mrs. Kelso (Faith) Bowers of Sioux Falls and Mrs. Frank (Kathryn) Burch of Marcus; two brothers, Francis of Marcus and Joe of Cherokee Village, Ark.
