Floyd Barron

Floyd “Pops” Barron, 79, died Friday (Aug. 24, 1984) in the Happy Siesta Retirement Home in Remsen after long illness.

Services were at 10;30 a.m. Monday at the Happy Siesta Retirement Home Chapel. Rev. LeRoy Seuntjens officiated. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Remsen under the direction of Fisch Funeral Home.

Visitation was one hour before service time in the Happy Siesta Chapel.

Mr. Barron was born July 25, 1905 in South Sioux City, Neb. He was employed at the Golden Pheasant in Remsen from 1969 to 1979. He was a resident of the retirement home since April 12, 1979.

There are no known survivors.
